Ingredients

  • 350g Beef Mince add to shopping list
  • 1 Jalapeno Peppers add to shopping list
  • 1 Onions A quarter finely chopped, the rest in slices for topping add to shopping list
  • 1 Eggs add to shopping list
  • 0.5tsp Thyme add to shopping list
  • 4tbsp Olive Oil add to shopping list
  • 15g Butter add to shopping list

Method

  1. 1 Chop up the jalapeno and onion finely
  2. 2 Beat the egg, then mix into the mince, thyme and butter. Add the jalapeno and onion
  3. 3 Mix it all together and pack it tightly.
  4. 4 Fry the burgers in oil over a medium heat until cooked right through
  5. 5 Fry the extra onion for the last few minutes until they turn transparent
  6. 6 Serve in a bread bun with chunky potato wedges and salad
